The Source (2011 film)

The Source French La Source des femmes is a 2011 French dramacomedy film directed by Radu Mihileanu, starring Lela Bekhti and Hafsia Herzi. It premiered In Competition at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

The film was produced by Frances Elzevir Films and O O O Productions, in coproduction with FranceCinma and EuropaCorp. Other than the 64 French investment, Belgian companies contributed 14, Italianand Moroccan 10. It was prebought by Canal and CinCinma and received support from Eurimages. The total budget was 7.99 million euro.The Source premiered in competition at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival onMay. EuropaCorp Distribution released it in France onNovember 2011. ........
